Verified official information
What to know about Romania passport photo
The Romanian passport office captures the facial image when registering the application. The applicant therefore does not prepare a 35 × 45 mm print or personal JPG for the ordinary procedure.
From everyday portrait to compliant result: Romania passport photo
We adjust the size and framing to the document's exact format without replacing the background or altering your appearance.
How it is actually submitted
The office prints the application at the counter and collects the facial image and other required data. Rules on lighting, spectacles and head coverings apply to this official capture.
How to prepare
Attend with your face fully visible, without glasses and wearing dark clothing. Religious head coverings are allowed when the full facial outline remains visible.
Common rejection reasons
- Trying to supply an external photo instead of counter capture
- Wearing glasses or light-coloured clothing
- Head covering or shadows preventing a clear face view
- Not attending personally
We check the requirements for you
You don't need to memorize measurements or biometric rules. Imagokit applies this document's official setup and checks the result before delivery.
